Rudy Christian’s career includes more than 20 years of research management, medical affairs, health economics and managed markets experience. Therapeutic areas include cardiology, nephrology, mental health, critical care, surgery, non-opioid surgical pain management, business development, and the development of disruptive innovative technologies. His experience includes regional or national roles at Alkermes, Merck, Eli Lilly & Company, Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc, Novartis, as well as hospital and university roles. He has presented to regional/national payers, Medicaid boards or therapeutic carve-outs in nearly 20 states, and international clients or conferences. In one role, he created a new functional group and directed the re-allocation of $1 million in company funds to create organic analytic health economic capabilities. Rudy holds a master (MPH) and doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) from the University of Illinois. He completed a fellowship at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Military experience includes roles as a line paramedic/MEDEVAC support, followed by Medical and Infantry leadership roles. He holds a black belt in Hapkido, seven-time Ironman triathlon finisher, and has helped to raise more than $400,000 for a variety of community causes.
